Protect My Belongings

  • Do I need storage property protection / insurance?

We highly recommend that all stored belongings are covered by insurance.

Whether through your homeowner's policy, renter's insurance, or a dedicated storage protection plan, having coverage gives you peace of mind in the event of unexpected damage or loss.

Please contact us if you have questions about coverage options.

  • How much does self storage property protection cost?
    • $8.95 per month - Up to $1,000 in personal property damage
    • $11.95 per month - Up to $5,000 in personal property damage
    • $21.95 per month - Up to $10,000 in personal property damage
    • Your insurance provider should also be able to provide options. It is possible that your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy already covers your belongings
  • How much property protection do I need?

The amount of coverage you need depends on what you will be storing in the unit.

One way to estimate the value of what you will be storing is the cost of replacing something if it becomes damaged.

  • How do I cancel the property protection policy?

We are ready to assist you in any way, including cancelling your property protection policy (if it was purchased through us).

If your insurance was through your personal insurance provider, please contact them directly.
